Check list

We have been learning about check list. There are 4 things to do. Our Choice, our handwriting and spelling sheet and writing. If we finish our checklist we will be able to have free time.

We have been learning to use our checklist co-operatively we can do it in any order. Our choices are story writing, choice, hand writing and a spelling sheet. For our choices we could choose computer, easy speak or we can read a book. If we were going to not do a spelling sheet we will be reading a story with Miss Rolton.

At school we have been doing some computer time with our reading activities and story writing. We have also been doing printing and a choice.

We have been learning to get everything done on our checklist. There are four activites on each checklist,a choice,writing,spelling sheet and handwriting. The day after that, the spelling sheet could be replaced with reading with Miss Rolton. We have alot of fun during checklist time.

Working Together

We have been learning to work as a great team in PE. We have been doing this in co-operative games. We have helped each other get across the lily pads. Working together to get the ball from one end to the other by putting it between our heads. Trying to get past each other when on a thin line and buddy hula hoop running. We enjoyed working as a team during our PE time.

Graphs

In Room 8 we have been learning about Graphs. In class we have been asking questions to our classmates and used the data to make a graph. We used our data to make different kinds of graphs like .... pie graphs.... line graphs and bar graphs.
Some of the questions we looked at were... What are our favourite pets... favourite ice cream flavours... favourite colours... favourite sports and favourite wheels. We made some graphs on the computer.

Goodbye Maisy

On Friday 12th February we were very sad to loose one of our special class mates. We will miss Maisy very much but will write and email her to keep in touch. We miss her friendship and her lovely smiling face. We are thinking of you!
